The results of the 2005 CQ WPX SSB contest were published in the January 2006 issue of CQ magazine.

ZL1V (@ZL6QH) achieved a score of 10,881,579 in the Multi-Op Multi-Transmitter category. This score placed ZL1V in top position for Oceania and in 8th place world-wide.

This is an excellent result, especially considering that ZL6QH lost AC power for 4 hours, and noting that conditions on the high bands were not as good as in previous years.

Congratulations and well done to the team - Martin VK7GN (VK5GN), Wilbert ZL2BSJ, Brian ZL1AZE, Todd ZL2SP, David ZL4TAC, Chris ZL1CT. A special thank you to Chris ZL1CT for organising the operation.
