Mike Woods (ZL1AXG) moved to the USA in December 2005 and expects to be away for several years. We met up with Mike and his family for a farewell meal at the Parade Cafe on Wednesday 7 December.

Mike has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Quartz Hill activities since we started in 1997. In particular, we are very grateful to Mike for his role in setting up and supporting the ZL6QH web site. Mike was presented with a certificate in recognition of his longstanding contribution to the Quartz Hill project.
